FP 1600 Status Led Blinks 7 times Firmware 4.11

LabView 6.1 FieldPoint 3.01 Datalogging and Supervisory Control, FP 1600 Firmware 4.11, FP RLY 220,AO 220,AI 111,RTD 122

I am using multiple Vi to read I/O using Read/Write tag Vi's of DSC Module.
I had properly set the IP on FP 1600 and the Host PC is able to communicate the module. I am able to read values and write value to the channels.

But after a few hours of operation (4 to 5 hours) the Status Led starts blinking 7 times. And after few more hours the Host loses communication with the FP 1600 module.

I had used the FP 1600 Diagnositic Utility for defect detection. The Power supply is fine and the the temperature is also in limits.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem.

First I would recommend that you redownload the Firmware to the FP-1600. To do this refer to the following web site:

Next, I would recommend using most recent version of FieldPoint Explorer which can be found at the following web site:

If you are still seeing the Status LED blink 7 times, contact National Instruments Automation support for further help.
