FP-1601 with FP-AI-110 current measurement troubleshooting

Hello,

i really need help here.

i read every thread in this forum about my problem, i still dont know how to
check my FP-1601 Ethernet module.

my application need to measure current from sensor.
but i dont know for sure that my FP-1601 module is work fine.
so i want to check the FP-1601 without connecting sensor to it, is it possible ?


i download the diagnostic program from this website to check
my FP-1601 for series A and B , and the program cannot complete,
i get error on timeout.

Hello Mor. Thank you for contacting National Instruments. Is your FP controller showing up in the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) under Remote Systems? Does it find your modules when you right click on the IP address and select Find Devices? If it does, expand Data Neighborhood>>Fieldpoint Items>>your IP address>>your controller. When you hit start are all of your items successful? If they are then everything is working properly.

If your controller is not showing up under Remote Systems or Find Devices timeouts, reset your controller and change the network settings so that MAX suggests values for you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day!
