FP-2015 datalogging

[FP-2015 datalogging]

Hi, everyone

I want to use FP-2015 as my historical datalogging device. With 'FP_Spreadsheet_Logger.llb', I can store the mv signal into 'txt' file on flash memory of FP-2015. But can I add some scaling and other mathematical function before the signal can be saved into the txt files. Because the signal I read directly from the channels cannot satisfy my requirement, I need to manipulate mathematically first and then save it. I try to modify the 'FP_Spreadsheet_Logger.VI', however I have no clue where to start. And I try to write the data like I did on PC, but it does not work.

What is it exactly that you are having problems with? Is it LabVIEW programming, or do you think there is a problem writing files onto the Fieldpoint? You state that you are able to use the existing VIs correctly, right? So you are able to generate .txt files on your 2015's flash memory?

I'm guessing that you are having problems implementing the mathematical functions. Are you able to get them to work in LabVIEW on your host PC? Are you looking for advice on how to modify these? Are they working on LabVIEW, but not on the Fieldpoint? With LabVIEW, you can do pretty much anything, so I'm sure we won't have a problem getting things working once you give us a few more details. Please let us know the answers to these questions, and we'll be more than happy to help.
