FP-AIO-610

The 'out of range' light flickers even with no analog inputs connected.  I need to verify the hardware is functioning properly.  We are using NI-DAQ version 6.9, and it appears there is no online diagnostic tool for this version.  Any thoughts?

Hello bdeer,

The "out of range" LED is used to show if any of the inputs are out of the range for the module. Since all of the inputs aren't connected to a know voltage source, they are floating in and out of the range of the module. In order to make sure this LED is working correctly, I would set a voltage to all the analog inputs that is in the range and see if this still occurs. If it does, then it might be broken and if it doesn't, then it is working correctly.

As for the driver for this device, the NI-DAQ driver isn't used for Field Point. It has its own driven so I would make sure this is installed if you are going to use it.

We were able to switch to DC power from AC input we had been using on the HMD70. Basically, we completely rewired the connections between the HMD70U and the FP AIO 610. It is now a completely DC system and it is functioning properly.
