The FP Advise.vi has a process that runs in the background. You must stop the process by sending a TRUE to the terminate advise input before shuting down. For more information, see the help on the Advise.vi.
As stated in the help on the Advise.vi, you may want to use the FP Read.vi or FieldPoint Express.vi instead.
