FP explorer timeout period expired

FP explorer indicates that the thermocouple module channels are experiencing the problem as 'timeout period has expired'. What the problem exactly is? Thanks.

The Timeout Period is the time that is allowed for a FieldPoint module to respond to a read request. Typical causes for Timeout Period expiration include mis-wired communication cables, lack of power to the FieldPoint bank, an offline network module (check to make sure that the status LED is not blinking), and incorrect communication settings (baud rate, serial port, etc...).
