Hi,
The first thing you should try before anything else is to check if the FP controller has all the same software version as the host PC, in order to check that you should launch MAX and highlight the IP address of you FP controller under "Remote System".
Now on your right hand side window you should have a software tab and you should have all the versions in the Host and controller as the same.
If that is not the case, I would just go ahead and click on the button install software.
After installing software you should try to download your VI again, if that gives you an error, I would try to download a very simple VI (maybe just a while loop) and see if that is downloadeable.
If all that does not work, you should consider call Natioanal Instrume
nts tech support for further troubleshooting.
