Fieldpoint IO's dont work

yes to both last questions.

i started to start afresh, now when i create a blank project, then add the real time target, dos some code, then new realtime application.

theere is no iak file created in the project folder, so i added one and put in on the tree, still no luck

If you go into MAX>>tools>>Field Point>> Download Item Names on Save

Is this ticked?

If it is the names will be updated on the RT target everytime you save the cinfigurations.  Otherwise inside of MAX you will need to right click on the Bank and select "Apply Configuration to the Bank".

This should update the RT system correctly. 

You have checked that the system isn't in Safe mode and that all of the software on the Field Point system is up to date haven't you??

Guess what i didnt do when i upgraded from labview 7.1 to 8.0.1.

I didnt re install the field point drivers on the controller...........

What a lovely lesson to learn hey, so anyone out there upgrading their version, put every disk in possible and upgrade everything even the drivers on your devices cuz u may think they work, but they do not.

....Now to put the io points all back in my vi's lol
