The @0 and @1 are the locations of the modules in the system: The network module is always @0, the next module to the right is @1, etc.
If you monitor an item and get a valid timestamp and a "Successful" status, then you are communicating to the FP. The IP settings are done via the Remote Systems Explorer. To get to that, go to the top level of the tree in FP explorer and choose "Add a comm resource", then choose an Ethernet device and browse. Remote System Explorer will open, you should see your FP unit and be able to configure it.
There are several ways to configure your I-O modules. One way to get the right configuration is to upload the information from the FP system to FP explorer (the "Find devices" option). This will ensure that FP explorer lists
what is actually installed instead of what is listed in your iak file, but it can cause problems if you have a vi that is using names defined in an iak file.
