How do I save and retrieve data from removable flash media for a Compact FieldPoint controller?

System is running an emmbedded program and is not connected to a host PC. The manual instructs the user to set the file path using C:\ and this appears to work, as I am not prompted to select a file, but no data exists when I search the controller via FTP.

Do you get an error while saving your data? And is your data filename according the 8.3 format?

No error was generate so it appeared to be working, but the data file did not show up on the Flash Card. After some trial and error, it was discovered that filenames longer than 8 characters in a single string would not write the file to disk.
