How to use cFP-DIO-550 to generate the pulse for about 300HZ

I have a step motor ,and want to use numbers of pulse to control the speed of the motor.

Now,I just can make pulse by 20HZ,but I want to be more than that,about 300HZ,so what can I do? or can the DIO reach  300HZ?
