I could not install filedpoint explorer/please help

Hi

I have downloaded field point explorer from this link

http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2313/lang/en

and it asked me to download nifpsw608.exe

in the first time I succeeded to download it , but I could not find field point explorer in national Instrument directory which I put it in .

then I have removed the program and installed it again , but install program gave me this message

Hello Suhad,

If you tried to dowload it from this exact link you will have problems, since this is a driver patch and not the actual driver. Note on the page, "You have to install NI-FieldPoint 6.0.8 first before you can install the 6.0.8f1 Patch." What are the LabVIEW version and FieldPoint controller you are using? Try downloading the actual 6.0.8 driver from here first, as it appears that's what it's asking for.

First, be sure your Windows Firewall is down and there isn't any antivirus software that may be blocking network communication. Next, please run through the steps in this Knowledge Base article, which specifically addresses finding a FieldPoint 1601 Network Module in MAX.
