No input channels shown for fp-1601in Labview

    Hi,

I am running Labview 7.1 on windows XP and trying to connect an NI FP-1601 with an attached FP-120.

I can see that the Thermocouple on my FP-120 is reading by clicking start in Measurement and Automation Explorer.
However, when I try to use the DAQ assistant in Labview, no input channels are shown.
I also tried the I/O assistant, but had the same problem.

Any help is much appreciated,

Shawn,

DAQ assistant will not work with FP hardware.  You need to use the FPRead.vi from the Measurement I/O>FieldPoint palette.  There are also several examples that ship with LV that demonstrate how to read FP hardware.
