TB-10 doesn't recognize FP-RTD-PT100-3 module

I have several FieldPoint systems that I am switching from 4 wire to 3 wire RTDs. I've had trouble before, narrowed it down today, and was wondering if anyone else has seen this. The problem seems to be that when I plug the module in, 95% of the time, the power light on the TB-10 never blinks like it does when you plug in other modules. If I keep fiddling with it, the light will eventually blink and then the module is recognized. Anyone else seen this?

James,

With the TB-10 and dual channel modules it is very important to ensure both sides of the dual channel module get pushed in all of the way. Sometimes you can even hear the two clicks and the module not be seated all of the way. I attached a picture of what you should NOT see if the module is in all the way. There should not be a gap between the plastic edge of the dual channel module and the TB-10.

When a dual channel module is plugged into a TB-10 the TB-10 has a loop in the firmware which does a measurement to detect what module is current plugged in. If any of the dual channel modules have changed then the TB-10 will reset itself (power and ready light will blink), so you are correct in that when you plug the module in it should blink due to
it reseting itself. My guess in this case is that sometimes the module isn't getting plugged in all the way. It isn't trivial.
