Unable to detect cFP in MAX

Hi,

We have cFP 2020 module along with AIO 600. We installed LabVIEW 8 when we brought the product. Now since the version of LabVIEW is very old we downloaded the evaluation version of LabVIEW 2011 with Device Drivers and installed on the computer that has already LabVIEW 8 Installed.

After Installing LabVIEW 2011 along with Device Drivers, the Field Point Module is not getting detected in both the versions of LabVIEW, before the install everything workrd fine for us.

What might be the problem ? Is there any doc for upgrading the complete setup (both software and hardware) to latest version

If memory serves, the cFP 20xx series is only supported by LabVIEW versions up to and including 8.5.1.   It will not work with 8.6 and newer.  This had something to do with the memory requirements of the SVE and some new features that were added with 8.6

I want to use FP-1601 for my project.Can you please tell me which version of LabVIEW will support it ?

Also is older version of MAX required to detect the device?

I have LabVIEW2011 installed and MAX 5.4.

You need to install the Fieldpoint drivers, it must be v6.10 or less sinc 6.11 dropped the 16xx series.

Select the highest version here that supports you LabView and OS:
