I am connecting a cFP 1808 directly to a computer using an ethernet crossover cable. The computer is not connected to a LAN. I configured a static IP address for the PC and the 1808 controller (using a computer connected to the internet). I am able to locate the cFP 1808 controller in MAX. However, when I connect the TC 120 and CB-3 modules @ position 0, I am unable to see them in MAX. The console out switch on the 1808 controller is set to ON.
I am not sure if I wired the power supply correct to CB-3. It has 2 "C" connections. Do both have to be connected to a C terminal from the 24 V DC power supply? (which is what I did) The Power and Ready LEDs on the TC 120 are both on.
Any input will be valuable.
Thanks in advance.

Hi AGovi,
I have sent you an email indicating that the you will have to right click on the cFP-1808 and select 'Find Devices' for all modules to show up that are connected to the cFP-1808. Also, the C terminals do not need to be connected as the power is supplied by the backplane of the cFP-1808.
