We have a cFP-2220 that recently will only boot into safe mode. We've tried, to no avail:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling all software using LabVIEW 2015 (in safe mode),
- Uninstalling and reinstalling minimal software using LabVIEW 2015 (in safe mode),
- Reformatting and reinstalling the software--all and minimal (in safe mode),
- Updating LabVIEW to 2015 sp1 and repeating the above two steps,
- Halt on IP failure on and off
- Rebooting with IP Reset on (also tried No App, and Comms Out...for thorough measure also the two User defined DIPs)
- All the above without any other additional modules (i.e., just powering the controller and connecting it to the PC)
- Booting disconnected from the PC (ethernet lights both blink on and blink off in time with the orange status light; power light remains green throughout i.e., doesn't blink on and off as the unit reboots)
I'm out of ideas. What would fail--hardware or low-level software--that could allow the unit to boot into safe mode but force it into an endless reboot cycle?
