I programmed a cFP-2200 controller to be remotely controlled via a web based remote panel, and it works great as long as I am using IE7 to access it.
As soon as I upgrade to IE8 I just see a bunch of HTML code at the web address where I normaly find the remote panel - aparently IE8 is not running the NI activex control required to communicate with the cFP-2200 controller.
I set all my security settings as low as possible, and made sure the NI activex dll files are in my IE "plugins" folder. Nothing helps. As soon as I revert to IE7, the remote panel works again.
I have been able to duplicate the issue on three computers running various updated versions of WinXP. IE7 always works, IE8 always doesnt.
I am using LV version 8.5.1 with Realtime module and app builder. My cFP-2200 controller is running Fieldpoint 6.0.1
