Hi!
Just find your FP 1000 in NI MAX at Ports. When you configure your FP in LabVIEW, give resource as FP@COM1 (Give your com port) and try.
Or give me code or message picture.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem with error -33811. When I initially hooked up my fieldpoint bank it wouldn't work until I switched it around to a different port, but at least then it worked. Now, whenever I try to run it I get error -33811 and my FP1000 network module never has the network LED lit anymore. I've attached 3 images: 1 of them is a MAX screenshot showing that everything is listed, the second one is showing how thermocouple readings are still getting through(even w/ no network light on the FP1000), and the third is the block diagram for the labview program. One thing that it might be is the fact that I'm using a serial to USB connector and then connecting to an USB port. Under the Device manager in the Windows Control Panel, it has "Prolifi USB-to-Seriall Comm Port (COM6)" listed. Is this perhaps the other thing that is "using the port"? Any guidance would be appreciated because I'm kind of stumped on this one.
Thanks,
-Troy

I answered my own question 🙂 Having the MAX open and the labview files running didn't work out b/c both the labview and the MAX program are trying to access the devices.
Thanks, and this might help others as well.
