data acquisition and logging on a server with FP2000 and FP1601

I have to build an stand-alone aplication that measures temperature and humidity each at 80 measuring points. Therefore I use a FP2000 with 8 FP-AI-112 and 1 FP-DIO-550 for local alarms as well as a FP1601 with 3 FP-AI-112 connected with the FP2000 via ethernet. The data should be acquired every 10 seconds and logged on the FP2000. Every 24h the data should be logged on a server in the network via ethernet and deleted on the FP2000. There should be an local alarm when exceeding the maximum limit. Every PC in the network with authorisation should be able to watch the actual values as well as the historical data from the server. When a value exceed the limit a specified time, the security office should get an alarm on there screen.

This is my first application I have to implement with LabView, which I learnd on my own.
Has anyone suggestions how I could realise this best with LabView 7.1, LabView RT 7.1 and MAX 3.1?

I would be greatful for any support or examples.

Hello Hasl,

I actually found a datalogging example for filedpoint 20xx in out archives. Inside the zip youll find a datalogging program to run embedded on the fieldpoint, a host application to run on your host PC and the word document containing information how to configure the system.

I hope this is helpful to get you started with your application.
