fieldpoint FIFO

I am struggling to get my FP2000 to log all channels (16 analog and 8 counter channels) at 10mSec to a file. The FP examples don't help much and trying to use the RTFIFO's are also not giving me the results I am expecting. Does anyone have anything that will allow me to do this? I am sure I can figure it out with more time, but my window is closing.

Jeff,

Take a look at the following page for links to numerous articles on embedded data logging with FP-20XX series modules.

If you are using LabVIEW RT 6.1 you can download the new version of FieldPoint Explorer 3.0.2 and upgrade the FP-20XX firmware to 6.1.1. The new firmware does offer increased speed performance of the FieldPoint VI's (FP Read.vi, FP Write.vi, etc...) when running embedded.

FP-20XX firmware to 6.1.1?
Did you mean 4.1.1?

No. I mean 6.1.1. With the LabVIEW RT FieldPoint modules, the software image comprises several components which each have their own version number. The LabVIEW version number is the version number that is selected when choosing the install script to run. Thus we use the LabVIEW version number in reference to which version of the image is installed on the module.
Thus when you choose to download the software, you will be able to choose 6.1.0 or 6.1.1, but several of the sub-components may have different numbers. For example, with the 6.1.1 image, the serial driver version is 2.0.2 (if I recall correctly).
