view FP-PWM-520 signal in DIAdem

I am having trouble viewing the PWM signal generated from the PWM-520 in DIAdem. I work on PWM contloed DC motors and I believe the signal coming from the FP-PWM-520 is working correctly because I am able to control the speed of the motors, but it is important for me to view the signal sent, in DIAdem, but I can only se a signal with no constant period nor amplitude. How can I correct this problem?

Hi,

it is not possible to few the outgoing signal, because you do not send the pwm-signal, you´re sending an commandsignal for the FP-PWM-520.

If you want to see the heading signal you have to wire it to an AI-Device like the FP-AI-100 and read it in over OPC in DIAdem.

Another way is to use a function-generator from DIAdem and programmatically change the frequency and amplitude in order to the outgoing signals from the PWM-520.
