FlexLogger crashes on startup - Work Firewall problem??

I have been trying to install flexlogger on my work PC for (YEARS!) and it will not work. It crashes on the splash start up screen. Oddly I have had a few PCs get it to open but 95% do not. I scowered the forums a year ago and it seems like it might be related to some work firewalls. 

It would be really nice if NI can provide a step by step solution to this issue as I know others have posted a similar issue. (I had a similar issue with DAQExpress but just gave up) Most people who uses these probably work at a company and firewalls are a thing.

Any help would be awesome!

It would be best if you can get your IT help, ask them to sit with you, disable all company specific security, launch FlexLogger and slowly resume the security policies to know which is impacting it.

Thank you for the response. I have been constantly working with my IT. I cannot install any software without them. Their response is to as NI for someone to tell you what is wrong with their software. However NI doesn't care anymore otherwise they would. We are not a rare place we would have upwards of 1000s of possible users. 

I will look over the link you sent to see if it can help me.

Labview, DAQ-mx, NIMAX all work just fine. Flexlogger and DAQExpress Nope. Why? Seems like someone at NI should have the answer.  

Can you see I'm pretty pissed at them?  NI from 10 years ago was great. Since then far less than great. Sucks because all my DAQ HW is NI-based so I'm stuck
