I want to use the cDAQ-9185 with a Controllogix OPC Server. I can't figure out how to configure the cDAQ-9185 to have a OPC client.
Software I have: FlexLogger Professional 2024 Q4 ver 24.8 with firmware installed
I would like to not buy anymore software.
My goal is to record strain data with the cDAQ-9185 and synchronize it with data recorded from the 5580 series Controllogix controller. I want to use a few controller tags to trigger the cDAQ-9185 to start and stop recording. Can anyone point me towards some useful references to figure out how to do this?
The cDAQ-9185 is currently assigned an ip address with the same range as the Controllogix controller. I bought the DAQ with little understanding of TSN, but thought great I can use ethernet from devices on the OT network to trigger and synchronize with the data recorded by the cDAQ-9185. Why is it so convoluted to learn how to do this?
