Is a licensed SystemLink Server required for FlexLogger to use Skyline?

According to the manual, Skyline tags can be used to communicate between FlexLogger and a custom LabVIEW application: http://www.ni.com/documentation/en/flexlogger/1.6/manual/using-skyline-tags-to-exchange-data/

Does this require a licensed SystemLink Server to work? I've got a 45-day SystemLink evaluation on my PC. Will the Skyline tags continue to work after my evaluation expires? (all my software runs on a single PC; there is no separate server PC vs. client PC)

Great question. FlexLogger installs all the necessary Skyline services required to read and write tags on a single PC. You don't have to license or install SystemLink Server for this use case.
