Intendevi dire:

PCI1408 with labview8.2

Good morning,
I have a PCI 1408 board and would like to use it with labview 8.2.
I installed IMAQ 3.1 drivers but I can't work.
In particular: MAX sees the board but the images can't be snapped or grabed
and in the "vision" subpanel in the function panel of labview no vi appear.
Moreover the "vision" directory appera in the "labview7.1\vi lib" directory, not in the  "labview 8.2\vi lib" one.
I tried to open the vi's in "labview7.1\vi lib\vision\" but or they are not executable (broken arrow) or if I browse the various vi's when I arrive at the "Call libray nodes"
anyway I have error messages, and no operation can be performed.
Are there compatibility problems?

Hi Paolo,

the reason why you cannot see the Vision subpanel in the functions palette is because NI-IMA 3.1 are not supported by LabVIEW 8.2. Here's a link that gives you the right compatibility:

NI-IMAQ for Windows Support for Different LabVIEW Versions

https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/17/vision-acquisition-software-and-labview...

In order to use NI IMAQ in LabVIEW you need version 3.5.1. This version comes within the Vision Acquisition Software 8.0 that you can find at this link: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/364/lang/it

Hope this can help.

Grazie mille. Al momento ho installato labview 6.i e imaq 2.6 e tutto sembra funzionare.
Con una versione più aggiornata di IMAQ Vision (6) non veniva riconosciuta la scheda che è un po' vecchia.
Ancora grazie.
