roboRIO 2.0 - 5V missing on the DIO port

The 5V is missing on the DIO port so the roboRIO is heating abnormally. Unfortunatelly, I don't have the serial number of this roboRIO.

We spoked with OSCAR FONSECA at the mondial and he said to write our issues here to have a comeback !

Thank you

Hi This is Diego from NI.

Could you please share the status of the other leds? Are they blinking or showing other color?

With the device open (removing the screws on the back and the two screws at the port, this will not void the warranty):

  1. Turn the roboRIO upside down and shake it vigorously.
  2. Vacuuming out the ports on the roboRIO.
  3. Check with a flashlight for material making contact in the port pinouts.

In case the steps do not work I'll be sending you a direct message to coordinate the repair

The other leds are working normally.

The 5V port DIO is at 0 volt so the chip inside must be cramed. For short test it's working but not on a robot because it causes other problem.

We already try to clean it from this inside.
