Feasible? 9651 (SOM) - EtherCAT and SoftMotion

I know that the SOM can run the EtherCAT using the second port and thus enable it to connect to 3rd party EtherCAT hardware.

What I am wonder is if I can leverage SoftMotion on the 9651 with Elmo SDI plug-ins for running the Elmo Gold drives over the EtherCAT.  I could find no mention of SoftMotion running on a SOM.

Yes, you should be able to as long as you use the secondary Ethernet port and follow our best practices guidelines for the Ethernet circuitry.
