Active LED Red

My digitizer ACTIVE LED will occassionally turn red. The thing is that after a while the led will go off again and the digitizer appears to be functionioning normally throughout operation, even with the LED red. I've seen the documentation suggesting it could be a numbe of things, loss of clock, some kind of command error, thermal, etc but it would be nice if there was a way to query the instrument to see exactly what error it's having.

MarcBAE,

What digitizer are you using?

We're using a NI 5122 - we determined that the red light was coming on when we called niscope_reset in conjunction with using the external sample clock. By switching to using niscope_ResetDevice, this problem went away.
