Yes you can synchronize a DAQ board and a digitizer. There is an example on the web that you can download to see how to do this. To find this example, go to http://zone.ni.com, then click on resource library (this is over on the left), then instruments, then oscilloscopes and finally waveform acquisition. This example replaces the onboard DAQ clock with the 10 MHz clock from the digitzer.
