Different Number of Records for Multiple Channels Acquisition

Is it possible to have different number of records for different channels in a single digitizer.

For eg, Say i have a PXI 5124, 32 MB on-board memory corresponding to a maximum of around 133k sample points. There are 2 channels in this card.

I have an acquisition where i have to do data acquisition from both these channels simultaneously, then is it possible for me to give different number of records for these two channels, like, 10k for channel 0 and 40k for channel 1?

Hello Sundar,

When you set your horizontal timing parameters such as number of records and min sample rate, these values apply to both channels and cannot be set independently. Since the memory is not shared per channel on this device, any number of records that can be acquired on one channel can be acquired on the other, and you can then choose to fetch more or less records from the card depending on what you want per channel.
