How can I recover a scope acquisition in a spreadsheet ?

Purchasing the toolkit may be the best option. I have just looked at it and it has a couple of examples which show exactly what you want.

Alternatively, have a look at the example code (LV 7.1 format)attached which uses ActiveX and doesn't rely on the toolkit.

Dear Stuart,

That you sent to me contains exactly the sub-vis missing !!

I hope I can use them now...

Ah Stuart help,

Sorry for the short rest. I managed to put the llb in my function palette and to open the gethardcopy.vi but I can't get it work !

It seems very strange, I don't know what to do and how it works, and the VI is broken and when I try what they say in the error list nothing happens.

Can you look at that and tell me ?

Thanks

I'm confused now as I can't find any Vi named gethardcopy.vi in the LLB that I sent you?? Why can't you just make use of the Write table and chart to xl.vi?

Also, I don't understand what the error is. Does it tell you? Is there a problem with a subVI or something??

Hi Stuart,

The gethardcopy.vi provided by boones is in the forum link I gave you above in this discussion.

I've tried to just use the "Write Table and Chart to XL" block but it seems desactived and links to wire don't appear...

Carolyne,

If you are trying to use this as a SubVI I imagine that you are having problems because none of the terminals are linked to inputs/outputs. You could either resolve this or just cut and paste the block diagram code into the VI that you are developing as this may be the easier option for you if you don't know LabVIEW basics. Incidentally, have you thought about going on a LabVIEW course or buying a book, this may help you develop your code quicker 😉

Cheers

Stuart

P.s. I would make the subVI connector pane changes but I'm currently in the process of formatting my hardrive and LV is out of action for a wee while.
