I'm considering using the PXI-5154 with its NI-SCOPE Soft Front Panel in a test instrumentation product. From our past experience, our users require an embedded scope that is easy to use that does not burden the CPU. In most cases the scope will be used to verify transient type of pulses. Therefore, rise times and amplitudes are critical to ensure ISO standards compliance. The ability to capture, store, and recall traces for reports is important, as well as the ability to make trace measurements easy and reproducible. We do not expect our users to have to program the scope; just "give me the waveform."
Does anybody have comments to the usability of NI-SCOPE Soft Front Panel? How does it compare with other soft scopes?

Hi!
The Soft Scope Front Panel is very user friendly and able to Load/Save waveforms, Load/Save configurations, and make scalar measurements. I attached a screen shot of what the soft scope front panel looks like along with a link to a help document about the NI High Speed Digitizer Help. Information on the Scope Soft Front Panel is located in this document and can be found under the contents tab in the configuration tree (NI-Scope Soft Front Panel Help).
