NI 5105 returns error 50550

Hi,

I found another solution on NI Forum. It suggested that the issue was not the scope 5105 but the chassis on which it was plugged. It left me unconvinced because I didn't know why it would suddenly break down but i still tried. So I switched my 5105 from slot 3 to an available slot and it actually solved everything.

Hi Alex,

So then it's possible there is an issue with that slot 3 on your chassis?  Perhaps you should set up an RMA for that chassis.

Have you seen any other card (digitizer or non-digitizer) have issues with slot 3 on your chassis?

Can you link the other forum where you found that recommendation here?

Hi Andrew,

Here is the post that gave me a hint :

http://forums.ni.com/t5/High-Speed-Digitizers/Error-50550-with-PXI-5122-in-a-PXIe-1075/m-p/1648652

I already tried to unplug and re-plug the NI 5105 card on this slot and it did not work. I will try another card on slot 3 tomorrow.

Regards,

Alex
