Hi LiewSC,
I believe that NI PXIe-5663 may fulfill the requirements of CISPR 16.

Dear Osvaldo Santos,
Yes. But it do not cover range 9k to 10MHz.
NI PXI-5922 (0-6MHz) and NI PXIe-5622 (3-250MHz) can cover my application range. Do NI PXI-5922 and NI PXIe-5622 fulfill requirements of CISPR 16? Beside frequency range, what is the different compare to NI RF spetrum analyzer?

Hi LiewSC
RF Spectrum Analyzer is composed by a Downconverter and a Digitizer.
The entrance frequency is mixed with VCO´s internal frequency by Downconverter to generate Intemediate Frequency (FI), and this FI is anaylized by Digitizer.
This is the difference to use only the Digitizer.
The requirements CISPR-16 is not available to me, because it is not an open standard.
Could you list all the desirable requirements?

Dear Napoleão,
The NI5622 with downconverter build in. Can it be use as RF spectrum analyzer?
Current version of CISPR 16-1-1 not cover the requirement by using the digitizer. However as I mention in msg no 10, researcher have done study and list down the requirement and one of the requirement is the digitizer need to be 16 bits. Please refer to the link I've attached in msg 10.
Can non NI digitizer use together with NI downconverter and act as RF analyzer. Example of non NI digitizer attached.

Hi LiewSC
Answering your questions:
The board NI PXIe-5622 is a donwconverter and digitizer integrated, and can be used as RF spectrum analyzer.
Using your information, the resolution of 16 bits meet the requirement on CISPR 16-1-1 by digitizer.
Yes, you can since that your digitizer inputs meet the downconverter clock and signal outputs.

Hi Napoleao,
What is t different between the build in downconverter with 5600?
Can PXIe-5622 and PXIe-5922 together work with 5600 and transform to receiver which compliant to CISPR16-1-1?
For the thrid party PXI intent to work with Labview, we need the driver or programming source code, right? Or can it direct communicate with NI RFSA VIs or NI-Scope VIs?
Looking forward NI to develop something similar PXI-5142 IF digitizer with 16 Bits.
Regard,
LiewSC

Hi All,
The NI PXI(e)-56xx signal analyzers do not meet all of the requirements of CISPR 16-1-1 or ANSI C63.2. For example, there is no preselection available. Nor will these units display the correct response to the specified pulses. As a result, these products are not recommended for compliance emissions measurements. These products are very suitable for pre-compliance measurements.
