I came across a PCIe-5155, p/n 151896-01. NI has almost no information about this product on its website. In particular, I can't figure out which NI-SCOPE version would support it. PCIe-5155 does appear on the support list for NI Instrument Studio. I haven't used Instrument Studio before. Is this the only driver option for this device?

Hello Zador,
I'm curious how / where you "came across a PCIe-5155".
This device is manufactured by NI for some very specific, targeted applications, and is not supported as a general purpose oscilloscope for our broad customer base. That is why there is no information about this product on the website.
I'm sorry but NI does not support the use of this product outside of the applications which were created under a special contract.

PCIe-5155 do circulate on the secondary market. I've been now told that they work with the recent NI-SCOPE versions, but I haven't had a chance to confirm.

Given there is almost no information available publicly, the only option is to just try installing the latest NI-SCOPE drivers and see if it works (if not start downgrading the driver version one major release at a time).

Yes, the device should be compatible with the latest released version of NI-SCOPE, which is NI-SCOPE 21.0.

If you choose to use the PCIe-5155 device, I would caution you to expect limited support, and no guaranteed specifications for accuracy. But I do think you can be successful using this device with NI-SCOPE 21.0.
