PXI-5122 PFI output pulse

It is not very clear if I can do this but is it

possible to arm the PXI5122 (awaiting an

external trigger) and output a pulse on

either of the PFI lines?

The 5122 PFI will trigger ext hardware and

the 5122 will read the result.

I am trying to use the READY FOR START EVENT

which states 'generate a pulse when the digitizer is

initiated and ready to start acquisition to begin sampling'

Hi

Yes, you can use the niScope Export Signal.vi to output a digital pulse on one of your PFI Lines when a certain condition is met.  From your post it sounds like you might already be using this VI.  I attached a screenshot of the Export Signal VI and included the context help and detailed help regarding what signal parameters are available.
