How long does the function niScope_InitiateAcquisition() take?

Hello,

The time that this function takes is system dependant. I tried it on a PXI-8170 controller (700MHz Intel Pentium III processr with 256 KB RAM) using LabVIEW 6.1 and it took between 34 and 37 msecs.

There are 4 PXI NI5112 in my system.I call the function niScope_InitiateAcquisition() for each NI5112 in sequence and I found that there are a time difference of 70 msecs among each NI5112.
1.How can I avoid this time difference?
2.How can I let the clock of each NI5112 start at the same time?

I am trying to do something similar. I am able to synchronize the cards,
but I cannot start the acquisitions close enough. Does anyone have a
solution to this?
