I'd like to build a multichannel acquisition system. A hard requirement is that all channel should be sampled simultaneous (used for beamforming). To avoid a lot of cabling the WIFI modules (i.e.. NI 9239 Measurement system) seem ideal. To spread the sensors out in a room I'd like to use multiple of these modules, but I need them to sample on the same clock (a clock delay isn't such a problem, but different clock jitter is --> glitches). For as far as I checked the datasheet of the NI 9239 (and similar), I think this can't be done...
Other needed specs are:
- # analog in: min 4
- FSmin = 16000Hz
- inputtype = voltage (for microphones)
- inputrange: preferably -1 --> 1V
So I wonder if there are any other similar products (using WIFI and sample simultaneous.) for which this is a possibility? Or am I mistaken and is it possible with the NI 9239 (and similar)?
Thanks in advance!
