Tektronix TDS1002B VISA Problem/Issue

Hello!

Here we have a Tektronix TDS1002B two channel oscilloscope. I'd like to use this one for digital data acqusition, but unfortunately I'm not able to communicate with this one!! I downloaded the driver VI's from NI, NI-VISA too but when I try to communicate with the device there is a timeout or an error in VISA read.

Can anyone help me out?! This would be very cool!

First, you posted to the wrong board. This board, as the title says, is for NI Digitizers. There is a separate Instrument Control board.

Second, you have left out some very important information. What is the connection type to the instrument? GPIB, RS-232, USB, what?
