We want to use the RTSI bus for switching signals, (controling an external mux).

Hi,

For a simple application we want to use the RTSI bus to control a simple external mux.

Are the RTSI trigger lines levels or pulses?

Is the RTSI bus for all scope cards the same?

We basically need only 3 lines to control the mux.

Your help and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Rene,

        The first things that I'm curious about is what hardware are you using?  The RTSI tigger lines should be the same for all the scope cards-  for more information you should explore this KnowledgeBase article on the RTSI pinouts, as well as this one for NI Digitizers.  The RTSI trigger lines are pulses, as well.  Hope that helps- I'd love to hear more detail about the mux you're controling (what type of signal it needs to be triggered, what hardware you're using, overall application, etc).  Thanks!
