What are the valid voltage ranges and edge triggering values for NI5911

I was wondering: what were the valid inputs for the vertical voltage range?
Also for a given vertical voltage range what are the valid levels to input for an edge trigger?
Specifically for the NI 5911 high speed digitizer. Thanks

Vertical sensitivity (input ranges)
±10 V
±5 V
±2 V
±1 V
±.5 V
±.2 V
±.1 V

Triggering:

Full-scale voltage/n, where n is
between 1 and 170; full-scale
voltage on TRIG is fixed to ±5 V
(without external attenuation)

All these specifcations can be found in the user manual, which you can download from:

Hope this Helps.

what happens if I enter a vertical range other than valid vertical input ranges. the digitizer still seems to work. Is it choosing the next higher value or the closest value?

You are correct the digitizer will still work. When you input your voltage range, the scope will choose a sensitivity level that will handle that voltage. So in answer to your question it will choose the next higher range.
