I've installed LabVIEW 2012, then NI-Scope 3.9.6. I could not find niModInst set of VIs there. It is there in LabVIEW 2010 install on the same machine. My project relies on those VIs to find instruments and it is broken in Labview 2012 because they are gone(?).

Hi Fedor,
I installed the NI-SCOPE 3.9.7 driver and it has the NI-ModInst VIs in LabVIEW 2012's functions palette. You can obtain the installation files here.

3.9.7 fixed that problem, thanks!
By the way, I find that it is quite hard to find the lattes driver versions at ni.com, among the long list of older/outdated downloads of the same driver family. Is there a better way to locate them straight away. When I was downloading 3.9.6 few days ago, I did not see 3.9.7, if it was there, for example.

Hi Fedor,
ni.com/downloads is the best way to search for the latest NI-SCOPE driver (or any other driver, for that matter). The drivers should be listed in order of "most recent release" to "oldest release".
Outside of ni.com/downloads, the Update Service (Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>Update Service) installs automatically with NI software and should help keep you current with what driver upgrades are available.
