Based on this article (https://natinst.force.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019LabSAE)

TimeOut >= SamplesToRead/SampleRate

  1. what does SamplesToRead correspond to in association with NI High Speed Digitizers? The following 2 parameters could mean the same thing:
    1. Record length (for example a 1000 sample record)
    2. number of samples (always defaulted to -1 to acquire all samples available)
  2. My current sampling rate = 512M and RecordLength = 2.1M. Given these parameters, duration for a single shot acquisition should be 4.10156 ms. So TimeOut should be > 4.1 ms. I have added 10ms additional overhead to this as shown in figure below.
    1. LabVIEW_2018-08-30_11-29-41.png
  3. The acquisition was working well (was able to fetch 500 records and write to disk) before I closed the VI and re-opened to run another sequence. And it throws this error.

Any advise is appreciated.
