How to control Arduino from within built executable

When I want to control an arduino using vis written using the LINX tools, I have to run the LINX firmware wizard, beforehand.

If I then want to build an executable, so that it can be installed on another computer, how can I set up the executable so that it can also automatically install the neccessary firmware on the Arduino connected to that computer?  (I'd set this up as an initialization step that would be called every time the program is run) Is that possible?

I also tried to find the firmware wizard in the vi lib/Makerhub folder, but cannot find it - I was going to see how it worked from the block diagram and see if I could reuse parts of it.  But I can't find the top level wizard vi.

Possibly there are examples of this already, but I have tried and failed to find them.  So, if anyone knows the solution, I'd be very grateful!
