Note to Regular Attendees
We had a lower than expected turn out for this User Group meeting. I was curious as to why this was the case. If you typically attend the Austin UGM, but did not come to this specific event, I’d like to understand why. Feel free to either respond to this discussion thread, or e-mail me directly (travis.ferguson@ni.com). I have several theories, but would like to understand if we need to change the format.
Next Austin-wide User Group Meeting:
The next Austin User Group Meeting is currently targeted for November 16th, 2011. Topics are to be determined. However, we will likely continue our theme of Application Design Patterns, targeting the Queued State Machine/Event Driven Producer/Consumer design patterns. If you are interested/able to present on this topic, please contact Travis Ferguson
We’re always looking for new ideas/topics for future user group meetings. Think of concepts or techniques that you find useful, that you wish someone would have told you about. This can be very informal. If you have ideas, and want feedback, post a discussion thread. If you are interested in presenting or leading a discussion, please contact Travis Ferguson.
Thanks again to all who could make this meeting, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone at NI-Week and the next Austin User Group Meeting.
And, don't forget, for those of you who are willing to swim in the deep end, the LV Architects Meeting will be on October 6th.

I regretted missing the meeting. I hope it went well. I'd like to commit to a presentation at the next UG meeting in Nov. Maybe the queued state machine.
