Next Tuesday, December 16, we will be hosting the next LabVIEW User Group Meeting for the Dallas area. The User Group meeting will be held over lunch, with lunch provided by National Instruments. At this User Group meeting we will have two presentations that I am very excited about. The first, Developing High Reliability Applications with LabVIEW, will be presented by Dan Purvis of Omnia Technology and will focus on designing applications with LabVIEW for maximum up-time, high reliability applications with techniques and tools such as redundant architectures, LabVIEW Real Time, FPGA. The second presentation, What's New in LabVIEW FPGA will be presented by Chris and myself, and will be focused around new technologies being enabled by LabVIEW FPGA included the often requested custom FPGA hardware. Finally, we will be unveiling the long awaited user community for the DFW LabVIEW User Group!!!
This meeting will be a great opportunity to come and learn from your colleagues, network with other LabVIEW developers and stay on the cutting edge of LabVIEW. So, if you are an experienced LabVIEW programmer you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge, and if you are new to LabVIEW you will get the chance to learn from some of the best LabVIEW developers in the DFW area.
For those of you that could not attend the last meeting, we have moved locations, and are now in a much nicer and roomier location. The Richardson Civic Center is at the Southwest corner of Arapaho and US-75. It is also the location of Richardson City Hall - which all of us speed demons may know well. Parking is available at many places on the complex. The Civic Center is in Suite 102, and we will be meeting in the Heights Room for the User Group Meeting.
The User Group meeting will start at 11;30 and we will conclude by 1:00. As I mentioned before, lunch is provided by National Instruments. The only thing that we ask of you is to pre-register (link is at the top of this email) so that we can have as accurate of an account as possible when we get the food. Also, if you register and get put on the "Waiting List" - ignore that and come anyway. We have to put a limit in our registration system, but do not let it keep you from coming as we can handle many more.
We look forward to seeing you next week!
