I am using Win XP with HT CPU. I opened the task manager and found the CPU load is mainly on one thread. I don't know this means the compiling speed will not be increased even using a dual Xeon server.

The compile process is performed by the Xilinx Design Tools. Here is what Xilinx has to say on the matter of hyperthreading and the design process.
