IF-RIO Installation Help

I also installed NI-RIO 2.0, which was a different CD than NI-5640R.

Did I need to install NI-RIO 2.0?

NI RIO 2.0 is required by the NI 5640R.

NI RIO 2.0 is included in the latest versions of the NI 5640R installer.  The instructions that Anuj posted say to unselect the option to install NI RIO as part of the LabVIEW FPGA installation because the NI 5640R installer will automatically install it.

If you already have it installed, the NI 5640R installer should see that it is installed already, and take that into account when installing the files to support the NI 5640R.

    Thanks for the clairification.  I suggest you update ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/rf/ni-5640r/install/Installation Instructions.txt.  It says to install NI-RIO 2.0 before installing NI-5640R.

Thanks for the suggestion.  The new doc that Anuj posted on the message board wasn't available until after I left for holiday vacation.  I posted Anuj's version in place of the old one.
