Comsoft DF Profi II - Configurator II not loading

Dear all,

does anyone experienced troubles with the Comsoft DF Profi II card (PXI) recently? I tried to start the Configurator II tool this morning and got the runtime error 430 from windows -> http://www.makebarcode.com/info/appnote/app_017.html

I'am currently checking for any software updates related to the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). Hardware seems to be working fine (can be accessed throught the testpanels).

Is there a newer version of the windows driver than 1.3? I mean, that it has been issued somewhere in 2007, disregarding stuff like Windows 7 and any developments since then?

Environment:

LV2010 SP1

Windows XP SP3

Comsoft Driver V1.30 (from original Comsoft CD)

Visa Driver V1.35 (from NI Page)

Regards

Marc

i also have problem with configurator,

i followed the steps as per https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YFeYCAW&l=en-US

intalled the card,

specified the master, the 2 slave, did mentioned the inputs and output bytes as per slaved, addressed slaved as 3 and 4 and master as 1, specified master as a single master.

downloaded them in the Comsoft DF Profi II PXI card.

BUT when i try to monitor by clicking Monitor/ Modify, it never turns GREEN. sometimes turns RED otherwise BLUE.

i checked the signal on an Oscilloscope, signal is coming just fine, like RS485. Wire are connected just fine.  the master is just at a 3 feet from slaves. and slaved are just placed beside eachother.

i have also used the terminating resistors.

i am using a PXI as master, Comsoft DF Profi II PXI card and two D Max Lateral Web Controllers (http://fife.maxcessintl.com/guiding/d-max-operator-interface) as Slaves.

I am using the Configuator II provided by the Comsoft Card.

Can someone guide me what i am missing??

Try the 1.35 version and if your slave still shows blue or red, could you double click the slave and check for a diagnostic message?
